Short version: we collect nothing, because there's nothing to collect from.
Your files
Every Formatly tool runs 100% in your browser. When you drop in a photo, it is read, processed, and re-downloaded by JavaScript running on your own device. Files never leave your device — there is no server to upload to, no cloud storage, no processing queue.
What we collect
Nothing. Specifically:
- No accounts — there is nothing to sign up for.
- No cookies — we don't set any, first-party or otherwise.
- No analytics or tracking — no pixels, no beacons, no fingerprinting.
- No logs of your files — we couldn't log them if we wanted to; we never see them.
Contacting us
If you email us at hello@formatly.com, we'll have your email address and whatever you wrote — that's the only personal data we ever handle, and only because you sent it to us. We don't share it with anyone.
Third parties
The site loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or frames. Everything you download (the page, the styles, the tool code, the open-source libraries) comes from the same static host as the page itself.
